I absolutely love giving and receiving hampers as gifts, I think they make the ideal gift. You can fill them with all sorts of goodies, from food and drink to themed hampers, such as a date night hamper or a film night hamper.
The closer we get to Christmas, the harder it is to find hamper baskets on a budget. I have put together my favourites to share with you.

I collect baskets and white or brown paper bags with handles throughout the year and then use them as gift bags. Sometimes baskets are available in charity shops. Also I collect the ribbon and cellophane from bunches of flowers throughout the year and they can be used again

i am obviously a cheapskate. I do hampers every year for my olds (after all they have houses full of stuff and don’t want anything non-consumable) but I just re-use one I have been given or a cardboard box if I don’t have one the right size. I don’t think I’ve ever bought one!
