Earning Amazon gift cards is great fun, especially when you want to put them towards something you’re saving for. Below is a list of website that pay out via Amazon gift cards.

 • Swagbucks pays you to complete surveys, perform tasks, watch videos and even search the internet. Payout starts at just £5.
 • Gift Hunter Club pays you to complete tasks and surveys. Payout for an Amazon voucher is at £5.
 • Valued Opinions is a survey website, with each survey netting you 50p+. Payout is at £10.
 • iPoll is both a survey site and a smart phone app, and you can earn by completing small shopping tasks using the app. Payout for Amazon is at $23, roughly £13-£14.
 • InstaGC is similar to Swagbucks where you earn points for surveys, watching videos and completing tasks. The great thing about InstaGC is that payout is at just £1, and you get your Amazon gift card instantly.
 • IPSOS is a survey site that pays out at $10 (approximately £6).
 • Toluna is a survey site, where you earn points. The points can be converted into various rewards.
 • Vason Bourne is a survey website for IT or business professionals only.
 • Opinion outpost is a survey website that pays once you reach £3.
 • Just the answer is a survey website that pays once you reach £5.
 • Amazon Trade in is where you can send your unwanted books and games and receive Amazon vouchers.
 • WePromiseTo is a cash back website, where you can request payout via Amazon gift cards. If you choose to cash out via Amazon gift cards then WePromiseTo will boost your earnings by 5%. Payout is made once you reach £25.

If you know of any other sites then please let me know and I can add them to the list.

People4U http://fromalditoharrods.com/people4u/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/people4u/#comments Tue, 11 Feb 2014 12:18:28 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=1075 Read More]]> The site:
People4U are a market research company. They store respondents on a database, and when projects come up, they are emailed to see whether they are interested in participating.

How to earn:
People4U will regularly send emails with focus group invitations (mostly based in London) but you do occasionally receive an email for an online survey or mystery shopping. Each “job” is paid differently and the rate is explained in the original email you receive. I recently took part in a study, online, over 3 days, that earned me £70 in Amazon vouchers.

Payment method(s) and thresholds:
Each job is paid differently, and the payment method will be explained in your original email. It can be paid into your bank account, Amazon vouchers, expensive trade equipment and more.

My verdict:
The emails that People4U send out are annoying when they aren’t relevant (for example, focus groups in London), so it would be great if they could create two different databases for those interested in London-based focus groups and those who are only interested in online projects or nationwide projects. I’ve been a member for a few months now and there have been two projects I have expressed an interest in, and one that I was accepted for. During this project there was a delay with the payment, but People4U kept me informed every step of the way and apologised for the delay. I’m looking forward to completing more tasks with them.

The site:
Viewsbank - where your experiences and opinions count.

How to earn:
You can earn on Viewsbank by completing surveys, projects and mystery shopping. There’s also a chance to win prizes with their competitions. Although surveys are often emailed to you, it is worth logging in regularly to see if there are any that haven’t been emailed. You also earn £1 for every friend that you refer who meets the £6 payment threshold.

Payment method(s) and thresholds:
Payments are calculated at the end of every month, and if you’ve met the £6 threshold then your payment should be made on the second Tuesday of the following money, via Paypal.

My verdict:
Earning on this site can be slow, but in a month my earnings are £6.30 for very little effort. The surveys (so far) have been short and sweet, and they often come with further earning opportunities – such as appearing in a journalist’s article – to sign up to at the end of the survey.

New Year Cash Boost http://fromalditoharrods.com/new-year-cash-boost/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/new-year-cash-boost/#comments Wed, 01 Jan 2014 09:59:09 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=786 Read More]]> NewYear

Happy 2014! I hope that your Christmas and New Year were fantastic and that you’re ready to brace 2014 head on. This year holds a lot of exciting challenges for me – from planning a wedding to growing From Aldi To Harrods. Of course most of what I want to achieve in 2014 involves needing extra cash, so here’s my New Year Cash Boost. Below are my favourite, and fast, ways to earn some extra cash.

As you’re putting away all your Christmas presents, you’re probably thinking that you’re due a clear out and a fresh start. This is a great time to go through your wardrobe, DVDs, games, books and anything else that you’ve accumulated. You can put aside anything not quite worthy of eBay to sell at boot sales later in the year, but for now, you can get listing.

eBay have free listing until 5th January for items priced over £1. If you’ve been put off selling on eBay due to buyers opening cases against you, then you can read my extensive guide, Help, An eBay Buyer Has Opened a Case Against Me.

Zapper is dubbed as a “Music Magpie” for books and is a great place to sell your unwanted books, DVDs, games and CDs with very little effort. This means that you don’t get top dollar for them, but Zapper are reliable and pay quickly.

Qmee pays you for searching the web – and even better, there’s NO minimum payout.

Join Swagbucks to earn Paypal cash or Amazon gift vouchers, among others.

Download Qustodian onto your smartphone and earn money every time you read one of their messages.

Play free daily games on Jackpot Joy (deposit required).

Use iPoll to complete surveys and shopping tasks.

For many, many more ideas, be sure to check out my guide to making £1,000, which has 100 different ways for you to make £10.

iPoll http://fromalditoharrods.com/ipoll/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/ipoll/#comments Wed, 13 Nov 2013 07:16:17 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=727 Read More]]> I first heard about iPoll through a Swagbucks survey (you can read my Swagbucks guide here) and I am so glad that I did! iPoll have both a smart phone app and a website where you can earn money for completing surveys. The web version of iPoll is pretty much what you’d expect from a survey website. There are regular surveys across a wide range of subjects, and payment tends to be between 50p – £2.

However, using the iPoll app is where things start to get more lucrative. There are a number of tasks to complete, either whilst out shopping or filming videos of your opinions on various matters. The shopping missions involve visiting a particular retailer and purchasing an item – a recent one I completed was a beverage purchase, with the reward being £5. The task involved uploading the receipt and answering a few demographic questions, such as gender and age. Earlier in the year, they carried out the “Brit’s Voice” study, which involved filming yourself for 3-5 minutes a day talking about a topic they provided – and once even filming the contents of your fridge. As well as receiving a payment for each video and question I answered during this study, they also provided an additional reward of £53.77.

20131113-071409.jpg

You can redeem your earnings in numerous ways. The redemptions are listed in US Dollars, but this is converted to GBP at the current exchange rate.

$23 (roughly £14-£15):
Amazon gift card
New Look eGift card
iTunes code
Prepaid Mastercard Virtual Account
M&S online voucher
WOW HD gift card
Pizza Express

$25 (roughly £15-£16):
Rixty online entertainment card

$50 (roughly £30-£32):
Paypal (a 3% transaction fee is applied if you decide to redeem via Paypal)

I’ve been using iPoll for a few months now, and I’m very impressed that my overall earnings to date are almost £100. You can use the app alongside the website, so you’re never short of earning opportunities. I requested my payout via Amazon and Paypal on 29/08/13 and I received my Amazon gift card code on 01/09/13 and my Paypal payment on 5/09/13.

Make £1,000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/make-1000/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/make-1000/#comments Fri, 09 Aug 2013 09:12:26 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=242 Read More]]> 1000

You may have been reading my blog for some time, or you’re a new comer. Hello. I really want to hit home to you about how you can make extra money. There’s always something you can do, but knowing where to start can be difficult. So here, I present you with possibly the best blog post ever. I’m going to show you how to make £1,000.

You see, £1,000 is just 100 £10s. And I’ve even come up with a list of 100 things to do that should, on average, net you £10. Now obviously some of them will earn you more (switching banks to First Direct nets you £100!), and some of them may not be relevant to you, or you may earn less than the £10. But hopefully it all evens out so that you can make at least £1,000.

This idea came from a thread on Money Saving Expert, set up by Little Miss Uni Debt. The challenge is that people set themselves a target – either a savings target or debt that they need to pay off, and then split it into 1% goals. To make £1,000 you need just 100 ideas to make £10. And here they are, all ready for you to start earning! Bookmark this post and keep coming back to it. It is great for giving you ideas, or for you to keep on track with everything.

Superpoints: The Guide http://fromalditoharrods.com/superpoints-the-guide/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/superpoints-the-guide/#comments Wed, 04 Jan 2012 13:12:00 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=25 Read More]]> Superpoints is no longer in existance, however this post will remain here for reference.
Happy New Year everyone! This is just a flying visit to introduce you to a new money making site I’ve found: Superpoints. This site is similar to Swagbucks but not as fast paced and not as many earning opportunities for you.
To sign up you need an invitation – my links are above, or comment with your e-mail address and I’ll get an invitation sent out to you. There are 4 different membership levels. You start as “none”, then as your rank increases you work through “basic”, “gold” and “platinum”. The advantages of moving up the levels are that your redemption threshold is lowered, you get more clicks on the Superlucky Button (more on that in a moment) and you receive invitations to participate in surveys.
The Superlucky button is a great way to earn Superpoints. Depending on your membership rank you will get a certain number of clicks per day, where you can earn Superpoints. I’ve earned between 1-10 Superpoints per win.
Superlucky mail is a daily e-mail, delivered direct to you with some Superpoints in. Just click on the link in the e-mail to redeem your points.
You can also earn points by watching videos (Earn points>watch videos) and completing offers. There aren’t as many offers or opportunities as Swagbucks, but it all adds up.

Prizes include Amazon gift vouchers and Paypal money. For 1,000 points you can earn a £5 Amazon gift voucher, or $10 into your Paypal, which is roughly £6.33. I know which one I’ll be doing! Payouts are made weekly, often on a Monday or Tuesday.
