It seemed too good to be true – new players are offered a £15 sign up bonus – and even better, when registering, I didn’t have to give many personal details or register a credit card.

The site is really cute – images of cake, cupcakes and a lot of pink are used – all my favourite things! I spent the next few days playing through the site and deciding if it was something I’d want to share with you. The £15 I was given was loaded as “bonus bucks” and can’t be redeemed. However, they can be converted to your cash balance, at a rate of £10 Bonus Bucks = £1 cash. Logging in daily nets you a £1 CASH bonus. Possibly my favourite thing about Scrummy Bingo is that their website works on mobiles and tablets, which is great for playing in bed, or even the bath if you trust yourself. I’m addicted to the “Cupid’s Arrows” slots.

As with all bingo sites, you need to have made a deposit before you can withdraw. So I deposited £10, thinking that I could withdraw £24.98, making it £14.98 profit. I then discovered that you need a minimum of £30 balance to withdraw, so I was faced with two options. I could either deposit another £10 and withdraw £34.98 (still getting £14.98 in profit) or I could play until I turned by £24.98 into £30. The latter was not an option (I don’t gamble to lose money, only when there are good cashback offers or it is a free sign up bonus – no deposit required). So I deposited another £10, bringing my total over the £30 threshold and proceeded to withdraw. My Bonus Bucks were also completely wiped out now, taking them to a balance of £0.

In order to withdraw you also have to meet certain wagering terms:

1. Withdrawals can only be made by real-money players, who have made a minimum deposit of £10 to their account.
2. You may request one withdrawal during every seven-day period.
3. In order for you to request a withdrawal, you must wager the value of your last deposit (all deposits of the day), plus any bonuses, four times (4X) on bingo games, or ten times (10X) on other games.
E.g., if you deposit £10, and receive a £20 bonus on the value of that deposit, giving you a total of £30, you will need to wager the total amount of £30 X 4 (four times) = to the amount of £120 for Bingo Games or £30 X 10 (ten times) = £300 for other Games.
4. If you do not choose to claim a bonus when depositing, you must wager your deposit amount once 1X before claiming a withdrawal. This is necessary to comply with Anti Money Laundering regulations.
E.g., if you deposit £10, you will need to wager £10 before you can withdraw funds.

Of course, I found it after I’d requested my withdrawal! Completely my fault for not checking the terms before depositing and withdrawing! I received an email a few hours later informing me of my mistake and showing me easily how I can meet the wagering requirements.

Now, despite me earlier saying that, as a general rule, I don’t spend my own money on bingo sites, I could genuinely see this website becoming a site I would use regularly. With Tony working nights we don’t get to go out as a couple very often, so I may treat myself to a few games at Scrummy Bingo instead.

Let me know if you’ve given Scrummy Bingo a try! You have nothing to lose and winnings to gain!

Make £1,000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/make-1000/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/make-1000/#comments Fri, 09 Aug 2013 09:12:26 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=242 Read More]]> 1000

You may have been reading my blog for some time, or you’re a new comer. Hello. I really want to hit home to you about how you can make extra money. There’s always something you can do, but knowing where to start can be difficult. So here, I present you with possibly the best blog post ever. I’m going to show you how to make £1,000.

You see, £1,000 is just 100 £10s. And I’ve even come up with a list of 100 things to do that should, on average, net you £10. Now obviously some of them will earn you more (switching banks to First Direct nets you £100!), and some of them may not be relevant to you, or you may earn less than the £10. But hopefully it all evens out so that you can make at least £1,000.

This idea came from a thread on Money Saving Expert, set up by Little Miss Uni Debt. The challenge is that people set themselves a target – either a savings target or debt that they need to pay off, and then split it into 1% goals. To make £1,000 you need just 100 ideas to make £10. And here they are, all ready for you to start earning! Bookmark this post and keep coming back to it. It is great for giving you ideas, or for you to keep on track with everything.

Mecca bingo – £20 Profit via Quidco http://fromalditoharrods.com/mecca-bingo-20-profit-via-quidco/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/mecca-bingo-20-profit-via-quidco/#comments Thu, 01 Aug 2013 06:30:11 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=465 Read More]]> I just had to share this fantastic cash back opportunity with you. I did this yesterday and it has tracked perfectly, due to be paid in October (5th).

Quidco are offering £30 cash back if you deposit and wager £10 on Mecca Bingo. Which, for those who can’t quite work it out, means that you get £20 profit! This is a no brainer. I signed up and deposited by £10 and went straight to the slots, where I placed 25p bets 40 times (there’s a handy “autospin” function to do this for you). Once the 40 spins were up I was able to withdraw my winnings – £6.10, meaning that it only cost me £3.90 to get £30 back – £26.90 profit.

Even without winning you are guaranteed a £20 profit, as long as you don’t wager on “low risk” roulette. Full details in the terms and conditions here. Good luck.

Make £££ this bank holiday http://fromalditoharrods.com/make-this-bank-holiday/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/make-this-bank-holiday/#comments Fri, 24 May 2013 12:00:35 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=285 Read More]]> The one good thing about May is that you get not just one, but two bank holidays. I know that a lot of the time might be spent outside in the sun, or full of busy, but if you need a bit of a cash boost then read on for ways to make guaranteed money with very little time spent.

Firstly, don’t miss out on eBay’s free listing weekend, where you can list anything with a start price of £1 or more, limited to 100 items, for free! A fantastic tip that I recently picked up is to start your listings on a Saturday, but make them only 1 day listings. Then on Sunday, relist everything else that hasn’t sold, but for 7 days. This means that buyers who want something *now* and are searching for items ending soon find your items. I trialled this last free listing and made £35. Worried that your item won’t sell for as much as a 7 day listing? Don’t be! I’ve not found this to have a negative impact.

Secondly, go through your books, CDs, DVDs and games. You can see if Amazon Trade in or Zapper are accepting any of your books, then get them parcelled up. Then try your CDs, games and DVDs on a combination of Music Magpie, CEX and Zapper. If you’re very organised you can even get them to the Post Office before they close on Saturday, and the money will be on it’s way to you before you know it. Even better, if you have a CEX store local to you then take your items in store to trade for instant cash.

If you want a chance to earn a bit more then you can list your items on the Amazon Marketplace and Playtrade. Your items are listing for a longer time (up to 90 days), but listing is free and you can normally price them more competitively.

Thirdly, any items that aren’t suitable for eBay or aren’t accepted by the sites listed above, there’s your local Facebook selling group. On Facebook, search for the name of your town or city and “selling” and see what comes up. The rules vary group by group, so be sure to check them out. Generally you create a public album on your own Facebook profile and fill it with photos of the items you’re selling. Be sure to add the price, location and a short description. Hopefully, before you know it, someone will be over with some cash for your goods! These groups are great for larger items such as bikes and furniture, but I’ve seen anything and everything sell!

Search through your jewellery box for any unwanted gold – I’m not talking engagement rings here, but rather broken necklaces or earrings. I made almost £700 selling my broken gold to Hatton Gardens Metal, which you can read about here.

Once you’ve done that, and if you’re feeling adventurous enough, load your car up for a car boot sale on Sunday or Monday morning. Read my selling tips here

Now that you’ve got all the ‘manual labour’ out the way, you can sit down at your computer and carry out the following tasks:

  • Join cashback sites. You can read my post about them here. Then trawl through looking for any freebies or cashback for nothing.
  • Play bingo! Here are links to my bingo posts, including information on which ones are free and which ones are risk free - Jackpot JoyBingoCams, Fabulous BingoLittle Miss Bingo, Free Bingo or Bingo for Cashback.
  • And finally, if you haven’t already, join Swagbucks. This has to be my biggest no outlay and no selling earner.

If after all of that you’re still itching for more then you can check out my category list and sign up for surveys, mystery shopping earning through your smart phone.

Have a good bank holiday everyone!

BingoCams – No Deposit Required Bingo http://fromalditoharrods.com/bingocams-no-deposit-required-bingo/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/bingocams-no-deposit-required-bingo/#comments Tue, 19 Feb 2013 19:51:00 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=8 Read More]]> You all know my love for bingo sites, whether it be Fabulous Bingo, Jackpot Joy, Little Miss Bingo, Free Bingo or Bingo for Cashback. And here I am with yet another bingo offer.

BingoCams is my latest find. Despite the name, no web cam is needed, although prizes are greater for players who win whilst using a webcam.

Sign up and get £5 to play with, absolutely free. There are wagering requirements to be able to withdraw your winnings, which are explained briefly below, taken from their FAQ:

“When you receive a bonus, it appears in your bonus meter. You must then unlock this bonus so that it can be added to the balance meter (therefore making it available for withdrawal).
You start buying cards using bonus funds once your cash balance is zero.
If your bonus amount is £50, when, after a number of rounds, you have bought £50 worth of cards, you have wager your total bonus amount once.
When you win, your prize is again added to your bonus meter. This way it is possible to actually wager the bonus a number of times.
To unlock a bonus you must wager the original amount 6 or 10 times in full (depending on the bonus). The above example requires the player to wager £50 in full 6 times (£300).
When the bonus has been unlocked, it appears in your balance meter, and it is then possible to have it paid out.”

Once you have an amount appearing in your balance, you can withdraw. In order to withdraw you must have a minimum of £10, and have made a deposit. I won £6.26 from my free £5, so I deposited £10 and withdrew £16.26. The money was in my bank within 3 days. If you play in the newbies room then you will be playing against very few people, sometimes just against yourself, meaning you are guaranteed to win!

Not only do BingoCams regularly email you with free promotional codes, but you can log into their website and be shown all your available bonus codes, both free codes and deposit bonuses. Since joining a week ago I’ve already received another £1 to play with, absolutely free.

Overall, I’m very impressed with BingoCams. The site has an autobuy feature, meaning it is possible to leave the game running in the background until your bonus money have all been wagered (and hopefully winnings appear in your balance). You have nothing to lose and you can join without putting in your card details.

ETA: Well a few days after I signed up, my boyfriend gave it a go. He set up in the Newbies room, setting his tickets to autobuy the maximum tickets per game. Once his money went from his bonus balance to his real balance, he had won £7.79!

Free bingo – Kitty Bingo http://fromalditoharrods.com/free-bingo-kitty-bingo/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/free-bingo-kitty-bingo/#comments Wed, 19 Dec 2012 11:33:00 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=13 Read More]]> Edit August 2013. Kitty Bingo are no longer offering new players £10 free, but rather they are offering a 200% deposit match.

I’m a regular watcher of The Chase on ITV, and for months now I’ve been seeing adverts for Kitty Bingo, driving me insane. So I actually paid attention to the advert last week and saw that they give you £10 free, no deposit required. Well that was enough to entice me!

So on Friday night I decided to play my first game. I spent 5p of my £10 on one ticket just to test the waters out, and then decided to buy a handful more tickets on the next game…and I won!!! I won £25.99 and was thrilled.

I then deposited £5 and withdrew £30.99, making the £25.99 as pure profit.

Please note that after you win, if you purchase any more tickets then that money will come off your winnings, not the original £10 bonus. So once I’d withdrawn the £30.99 I couldn’t spend any more of my original £10.

Good luck! Let me know how you get on.

Little Miss Bingo – FREE £30 bingo (no deposit required) http://fromalditoharrods.com/little-miss-bingo-free-30-bingo-no-deposit-required/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/little-miss-bingo-free-30-bingo-no-deposit-required/#comments Mon, 29 Oct 2012 14:29:00 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=14 Read More]]> You know me and a good bingo deal. I’ve posted about Fabulous Bingo, Jackpot JoyFree Bingo and Bingo for Cashback. So imagine my surprise when I found a totally free bingo site, where you get £20 for joining and £10 for ‘liking’ them on Facebook.

The website is Little Miss Bingo, and upon completing your profile you will be credited with £20. If you then head over to their Facebook page and ‘like’ them, leave a comment with your username and they will credit your account with another £10.

The £30 is credited to your account as ‘bingo bucks’, and you won’t be able to withdraw winnings straight away.

“Players are required to wager FOUR (4) times the total amount deposited plus BBs awarded on Bingo games prior to requesting a withdrawal.”

I got through my £30 quite quickly, and didn’t win enough to withdraw, so I can’t give too many details just yet. However, no deposit is required so you’ve got nothing to lose.

Let me know if you have any luck!

Bingo Offer: FREE £10 extra at JackpotJoy & Free Daily Games http://fromalditoharrods.com/bingo-offer-free-20-extra-at-jackpotjoy/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/bingo-offer-free-20-extra-at-jackpotjoy/#comments Fri, 25 May 2012 11:56:00 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=18 Read More]]> ETA: Updated 15th July 2013.

Awhile ago I introduced you to Fabulous Bingo, where I ended up making £500+. Since then I’ve been on a mission to find something similar to introduce to you all, and I think I’ve found it!

I’m a big fan of online bingo, but I always try to play it so that I’m never putting my own money at risk. I do this through either signing up to “no deposit required” sites, or to sites where Quidco or Topcashback will pay me more to deposit than the amount I need to deposit. For instance, if Quidco offer me £25 to deposit and play £10 on a site, that leaves me with £15 profit if I lose all my original £10. If I win? Even better!

JackpotJoy is one of those sites where I do sometimes deposit my own money. I do this as entertainment instead of gambling – if I win, that’s great, but I generally play the lottery and buy scratchcards, so sometimes I opt to put that money onto Jackpot Joy instead. Ellie at Many Ways to Make Cash has recently had some very nice wins on JPJ, so I decided to forgo the lottery and scratchcards for a month and put £10 onto JPJ.

Now the reason I’ve done this is simple. If you spend £2 on games on the site, you’re automatically allowed to play the free games on the site. You can find these by clicking on “play now” on the home page. Image1 Image2 Image3

Every week you can select a different game to play out of four. I really like Tiki’s Catch of the Day or Doubly Bubbly. Every day you’re able to pick out 6 squares, where the prize can be anything from free spins to £750. Without fail, every week I will win at least some free spins – which in turn earn me a few £££. I’m certainly not hoping to get rich from this – I view this as a little bonus and something to add to my “daily” clicks.

JackpotJoy have a referral scheme at the moment where, if you enter my referral id emmaglet (You must use this referral to get £20 added to your account) and deposit £10, they will give you a bonus of £10, so £30 in total to play.

The games are really easy, they autodab your numbers so you don’t even have to be at your screen when playing. Please note that some credit card providers treat gambling transactions as a cash withdrawal and will charge accordingly, debit card deposits are free of charge.

Fabulous Bingo – Risk Free and Models Own Nail Polish http://fromalditoharrods.com/fabulous-bingo-risk-free-and-models-own-nail-polish/ http://fromalditoharrods.com/fabulous-bingo-risk-free-and-models-own-nail-polish/#comments Wed, 15 Feb 2012 18:06:00 +0000 http://fromalditoharrods.com/?p=23 Read More]]> 18 July 2012: Sorry to announce this, but Fabulous Bingo are NO LONGER OFFERING THOSE WHO ARE REFERRED A £10 BONUS. I will be leaving this blog post up for reference and if you want to try bingo anyway, but please note that you WILL NOT GET THE WITHDRAWABLE £10.

ETA: I managed to play my bonus and wager 100% in just over 2 hours (including having dinner) and I’ve just withdrawn £89.69, meaning a profit of £79.69! Fabulous

ETA2: As of 19th June my total is now over £550! Very impressed with this site.

Fabulous Bingo is Sun bingo’s new website, and they have a brilliant offer on at the moment. Deposit £10, receive £20 free to play with (£30 to play with), then once you’ve played £20 you get £10 added to your account which you can withdraw.

To take part in the offer visit Fabulous Bingo and complete the sign up process. When asked ‘Referred by friend?’ select this option and type emmaglet into the space provided. You must use this referral to get £10 added to your account.

Deposit £10 and accept the deposit bonus, then you’ll have £30 to play with! After spending £20 of this (on bingo only, not slots or any other games), £10 will be added to your balance which you can then withdraw!

This is absolutely risk-free bingo, and who knows, you may even win! You need to meet their wagering requirements of £30 before you can withdraw your winnings (not the extra £10 from using my referral, that is safe!) which is easy to see by clicking on “My Account” then “My Bonus” and you will see how much of the wagering requirement you’ve met. The games are really easy, they autodab your numbers so you don’t even have to be at your screen when playing. Please note that some credit card providers treat gambling transactions as a cash withdrawal and will charge accordingly, debit card deposits are free of charge.

As if risk free bingo isn’t enough, they’re also offering a bottle of Models Own nail polish for every new sign up, which retails at £5.
