Bingo For Cashback

UPDATED August 2013 – between all these offers there is £100 in cashback profit available.

We’ve previously covered free bingo and if you’ve exhausted those opportunities but finding yourself addicted to bingo then bingo for cashback is for you.

I explained cashback in more detail here. You sign up for the three main cashback websites Quidco, Topcashback and Wepromiseto. Once you’ve logged in you can search for all the gambling related cashback – this doesn’t just include bingo. What you’re looking for is something that pays out more than you have to deposit and wager, for instance, if Paddy Power Bingo pay out £15 cashback and you only have to deposit and wager £10 you will be £5 in profit, before any bingo wins – which of course you cannot count on.

It’s important to understand that the idea behind this is not to win at bingo. If you do win then great, but do not count on it. This is a longer term investment, with cashback being paid typically 3 months after the deposit. As a general rule I try to only invest £20 per time in this (typically two sites), wait for that to pay out, and then do another two websites

I’ve compiled a list of offers at the moment for you to choose from. I’d suggest creating a budgeted amount to spend now and wait until more cashback is paid out before trying every single site out – cashback isn’t guaranteed by any means so you need to be careful. Don’t visit a site via a cashback link unless you’re ready to complete the transaction, or clear your cache before you do.

There are some duplicates – you can choose between Quidco or Topcashback as your preferred cashback provider.

Quidco

Site Cashback Amount Spend Profit
Paddy Power Bingo £15 £10 + £5
Mecca Bingo (blog post here) £30 £10 +£20
Heart bingo £15 £10 + £5
William Hill £25 £10 +£15
Glossy Bingo £20 £10 +£10
Postcode bingo £10 £10 +£10
Quicksilver Games £20 £10 +£10
Vernons Bingo £15 £10 +£5

Topcashback

Site Cashback Amount Spend Profit
Mecca bingo £30 £10 +£20
Paddy Power £15 £10 +£5
Iceland Bingo £15 £10 +£5
William Hill £25 £10 +£15
Bgo Bingo £15 £10 +£5
Hippo Bingo £15 £10 +£5
Bulter’s Bingo £20 £10 +£10

Please note that  you must play your deposited money and ensure that there isn’t a higher wager amount – at the time of writing there isn’t on any of them. A higher wager amount means that you must deposit £10 but play £25, meaning you need to play your winnings until you’ve spent £25. If you don’t win and don’t redeposit then you’ll lose out.

Remember you’re not playing to win, but merely to receive cashback.

Cashback

I can’t believe that I’ve been running my blog for almost two months and I haven’t written about something I adore: cashback!
The idea is simple. A company (let’s use BT for instance and hope they don’t sue me) pay a cashback site (Quidco) an amount of money for each genuine new customer they bring. In order to get customers for BT, Quidco offer potential customers an amount of cash back as a reward for registering for the services through Quidco. Quidco get some pennies, you get some pennies and the whole world is happy.
Cashback can be applied to a whole host of scenarios from your weekly online food shop, to ordering a free SIM card, to gambling loopholes (deposit and play £10 and get £20 cashback, therefore £10 profit even if you lose), to switching utilities and much more.
There are loads of cashback websites out there, and my personal favourite is Quidco. It is my first port of call for any purchases, and the other two I use are TopCashBack and WePromiseTo. What I like about WePromiseTo is that they also pay out via Amazon vouchers and they’ll give you an additional 5% of your earnings! It’s also worth mentioning Greasy Palm, although I rarely use them, just when a retailer isn’t on any of the major 3.
You can also earn cashback when shopping in real stores such as Cineworld, Halfords,  Debenhams and many more. You do need to place your card details on the websites, which is fully secure, to receive your cashback for offline shopping.
Cashback isn’t instant, I usually receive mine a couple of months after my initial purchase. You can also get cashback for no spend items, such as a free SIM card, using a comparison website, etc.
I’ve just reached over 50 followers on the blog so a competition is in order! Trying to decide what to give away on a website that promotes being thrifty and earning more money has been difficult, but with the help of some friends on Twitter I’ve managed to come up with a fabulous idea, so that will be happening once I’ve actually, you know, bought the stuff!
Preparation for March’s Money Making Marathon are well under way – I don’t want to give too much away before March begins but let’s just say that I appear to be a money making machine at the moment – long may it continue.
That’s all for now lovelies. I’ve got a handful of things to pop on eBay (hello free listing weekend), a ton of things to parcel, a ton of custom jewellery orders to make and a take away with my name on it!
