Hello and welcome to From Aldi To Harrods. I’m Emma, a 25 year old who loves cupcakes, shopping and glittery nail polish. I also love money. I like to have more money than my full time job pays me. So I do something about it! I often joke that I will do anything for money – you will often find me at a car boot sale, or listing items on eBay or going to a restaurant as part of a mystery shop. I search the internet for coupons and I try to make my money go as far as it can.

The ideas in this blog aren’t new – a lot of them are in fact from Money Saving Expert. I have been reading that site since 2006, spending hours trawling the forums for money making ideas. I believe in trying everything I write about, before I write about it. I believe in being honest – none of this ‘pay me £200 and I will share all my secrets’. Just me, writing honestly about what I do and how much I make.

This site isn’t about one amazing money making idea that will allow you to quit your job from day one. In fact, let’s be honest, you’ll probably still be working until retirement. But you know that new pair of shoes you want? Or that expensive text book? Or even that holiday to Florida? You can save for them using this site!
