This past week I got to travel to Blackpool, unfortunately for a family funeral. Living close to Cambridge, I love seeing how cheap everything is in Blackpool (including this 3 bedroomed extended house for just £69,000!). Imagine my glee when I spotted Poundland, 99p stores and Poundworld all within a few yards of each other! So this month I will be bringing you some great thrifty finds from all three stores.
These newspaper bags, in the craft section, are adorable! You get 4 for £1, and I wish we hadn’t already made our wedding favours so that we could somehow incorporate these. They’d made great gift bags for smaller items, such as chocolates.
Once again, the Jane Asher selection of bakeware did not disappoint me. So much so that I actually bought a selection of items for a giveaway coming later today! Alongside the bakeware there was a nice selection of cake mixes, frosting and decorations.
They look like Sharpies and guess what? They function as Sharpies, for a fraction of the cost!
Following the success of Disney’s Big Hero 6, Poundland have introduced a toiletry range (to compliment their Frozen range).
Children’s Frozen coat hangers, available in pink and blue.
Books at Poundland can be a great deal! For example, This Is The Way by Gavin Corbett is £14.99 on Amazon for the hardback (or £8.99 for the paperback).
Great selection of Monster High goodies. These would make great presents and you can even start buying them now for Christmas.
Apple Blast poptarts (some people have reported other flavours in their stores!) for just £1. These are over £5 at Amazon, or between £2-£4 at Tesco.
20g Olay light day cream – £2.95 at Amazon.
Rimmel’s Perfect Match Blush.
Have you found anything great in Poundland this month?

Frozen coat hangers, whatever next!? Haha, I have had some plain kids hangers from Poundland and they’ve held up well though, so I wouldn’t mind trying them. I also think I’m going to pop in at the weekend and get myself some ‘sharpies’ now! x

These posts always make me feel like visiting Poundland. Am I the only one who feels like spending money in there doesn’t count, because it’s Poundland? Somehow exempt from any rules I set myself lol
