I’ve been really busy in April, as I decided to develop and launch a new site – Make Money Without a Job. It’s been tough going – the domain I wanted wasn’t available, so I started the bidding process. And for some time I seemed to be splashing the cash anywhere and everywhere to get things exactly how I wanted.
But the site launched last week, and will be run in conjunction with From Aldi To Harrods and Bargainista Bride. It’s definitely a lot of work but I make no secret of the fact that I want to be supporting myself through my online ventures instead of having a job. Ideally within 24 months!
So head over to the introduction post – there’s also a Rafflecopter giveaway for a £20 Amazon voucher.

Hi – I have just come across your blog and am really enjoying reading your posts. I will certainly be checking into the new website! I have a query on your ebay business – I have found that as a private seller with a lot of stuff to shift (unfortunately, most are things I have purchased (badly) in the past), how do you price to sell? Do you list as a private seller or do you have a shop for things found at car boots etc? Reason for asking is that I often see people who have ebay ‘flip’ businesses (flipping car boot or charity shop finds on ebay for a profit for example US based ebay scavengers or third hand shoppe) who set a BIN price and seem to realise these. When I try BIN for an item that I know is quality or is even BNWT that I list as well down on the ticket price, I get zero offers or the offers take ages to trickle in! Then when I list as 99p zero insertion then I find I have a ton of watchers but an item usually only goes for a few £ which is disheartening…at the moment, its not a major major problem as shifting a lot of personal stuff that I just want to be rid of, but if I venture into flipping this would be a big concern as obviously then you are buying items at x and need to realise y to achieve a profit of z. Most of this angst seems to be around clothes which I think I read you were no longer focusing on. And when I say clothes, I mean good high quality brands like Whistle, Monsoon, Fat Face, Boden etc…..would love to hear your thoughts on this! Thanks in advance!
