eBay have launched a campaign to get rid of your unwanted Christmas gifts by offering users the chance to list up to 100 items for free up until 6th December 2015. Not only do you get 100 free listings, but you can also take advantage of up to five optional upgrades free for each listing. These upgrades include:
- Gallery plus
- Adding a Buy It Now price
- Adding a subtitle
- Scheduling your listing to start at a future time
- Listing designer
The jury is out on whether January is the best time to list your items – many of us are feeling the pinch after Christmas and won’t be looking to buy anything else until January’s pay day. I will be relisting anything that hasn’t previously sold, and I may try a couple of items for sale, but I won’t be putting any high priced or “big ticket” items on until after January.

I agree – I have some new high-end makeup to sell plus a few gifts to find a new home for. A good offer but I’ll most likely be waiting til February to list as well!

Just wondering why there hasn’t been any official announcement through EBAY. I guess I have the free listings since I’m using the Buy it Now option in all categories where there is normally a charge in these categories to list. Yet I saw no e-mail and nothing in the announcements on my selling page. Which means if I hadn’t just been looking for free listings and have decided to re-list and saw that there was a zero charge I never would have known. So I’m real curious did anyone else get notified through EBAY? Thanks in advance …
