Last night I booked my flights to Florida and confirmed the villa Rose and I are going to stay in. We managed to make a major saving on our flights, giving me roughly another £100 to spend, thank goodness! We also managed to get this beautiful villa which ticks everything on my ultimate dream list for a villa, so I’m thrilled.
I’m still feeling a little bit stressed about having enough spending money, especially as this month’s £10 a day is pretty much all accounted for, but it just means that I’m going to have to make a massive target for March. Plus its my birthday on Saturday so I’m hoping for a few pennies as gifts.
Time to feedback on my February goals then.
Make £280 extra this month – hopefully by selling lots of things and continuing to de-clutter.
Well…I’m on my way. My current total is £56.41 so I’m a few days “behind” but I’ve not had a proper listing session on eBay or TSUK this month yet. Amazon has had a few takers and I need to make a Music Magpie sale soon.

Done! We still need to sort out car hire and and park tickets, a visa waiver form and travel money, but we’ve got flights and accommodation, so everything else can wait.
Go to all 4 Zumba classes this month.
Been to the first one, another one tomorrow which is going to be so hard to motivate myself to go to, especially as its my birthday on Saturday. At least I’ll burn off some cake!
Go on 3 training courses
Two training courses: DONE! I’ve got another one next week about English as an Additional Language. I’m actually enjoying them…perhaps not the Saturday course, but definitely ones after work. It’s great for networking with other play practitioners too.
Get more of my shed/office sorted
I officially LOVE my shed office now. I have a massive desk as well as two surface areas to work with. If you’d seen the shed almost 3 years ago you’d be amazed at what I’ve managed to achieve, mostly selling things on.
I’m guessing eBay aren’t having a free listing weekend this weekend as there’s nothing on their site about it. Do they announce it on the Thursday or Friday beforehand?
How’s everyone else doing with their money making? I need to leave for work in two hours so I might finalise a TSUK post and start a Music Magpie sale. Anything for some pennies! I also have another NVQ assessment tomorrow so I better get a move on and actually do my professional discussion tasks.
