One simple way to save money is to look at finding the cheapest provider for your broadband and line rental. We are bombarded every day with adverts promising us great deals, but who does actually have the best deals available?
Why is it so cheap?
Cheap broadband and landline offers are usually cheap because they do the bare basics of getting you connected. However there may be lower download limits, slower speeds or pricier phone call costs. It is also usually cheaper if you look at switching over your TV package and taking out an all in one package instead. Compare broadband and landline prices to make sure that you get the best deal.
Is switching worth it?
Switching your broadband and phone provider seems like a massive faff, but you can save £100s every year just by switching your provider. If you are worried about being offline then don’t be – gone are the days of being offline for weeks and you should only be offline for a few hours as the switch over is much quicker than it once was. The whole process usually takes 10 working days, although this does vary between providers.
Cheap broadband isn’t for everyone
As much as I love a great deal, the cheap broadband offers aren’t for people who mostly like to use it to stream tv and films such as Netflix, play online games or download a lot. It also isn’t great for households where everyone wants to use it at once. There are still plenty of offers available – just make sure that the package you pick will allow you to do what you want with your internet.
