Day 16 – March Money Making Madness

Day 16 – the official Sunday Sort Out. Today is all about tackling your wardrobe – which helps with a Spring Clean too! Sort through your wardrobe for clothes that need repairing and put them aside, but also look for clothes that you’re not going to wear again – too big, too small or no longer to your taste.

1. Photograph clothing for sale – eBay allows you up to 12 photographs in your listing with no additional cost, so be sure to get every angle. If your clothing has a tear or stain, be sure to photograph this. Pay particular attention to any detail or difficult to describe areas.
2. List your clothing on eBay. Taking measurements is a great idea as it gives potential buyers the chance to decide whether it would suit them. Typical measurements include arm pit to arm pit, shoulder to hem and armpit to hem.

Be sure to use the Royal Mail price finder to ensure you are charging the correct postage. In most cases (up to 1kg, shoe box sized parcel or below) you’re looking at £2.60 second class or £3 first class.
