Day 26 – March Money Making Madness

Day 26

Day 26 – as part of this week’s Sunday Sort out, you may have found some left over foreign currency, and today we’re going to look at ways to earn from that. If you haven’t found any currency then that’s fine – move straight to the Teacher’s Pet section.

  • Collect your notes together and price up who offers the best exchange rate for buying them back. Arrange to take them this week.
  • Use cash4coins to send off any foreign coins you have.

Day 25 – March Money Making Madness

Day 25

Day 25. I’ve talked about Swagbucks for awhile now, so you may know how great it is to get free gift cards and pay for gifts, big purchases and anything else with them instead of paying out of pocket. I’ve made £215 to date, and now I’ve got a great offer to share with you. If you sign up using my link (below), you’ll get an additional 500SB bonus once you’ve earned 1,500SBs (between now and 19th April). A £5 Amazon gift card is 849SBs, so with this bonus you’ll be well on your way to another one!

  1. Sign up to Swagbucks using this link – you must use this link to be eligible for the bonus.
  2. Earn 500 Swagbucks today – ideas below.

How to earn your 500 SBs:

  • Complete the daily poll here.
  • Complete surveys here.
  • Play games here.
  • Watch videos here.
  • Shop online here.
  • Complete offers here.
  • Search the internet here.

Day 24 – March Money Making Madness

Day 24

Yesterday you should have found unwanted items around the house to sell, so today we’re going to look at where you can sell your unwanted jewellery quickly. If you didn’t put aside any to sell then move straight for the Teacher’s Pet tasks.

  1. Weigh your gold and silver jewellery.
  2. Log on to Hatton Garden Metals and arrange to send off your jewellery.
  3. Package it up, include the packaging slip and take it to the Post Office this week.

Hatton Garden Metals are, in my opinion, one of the best “we buy your gold” companies out there. I’ve sent in gold to them 3 times, and every time I’ve been paid the best rate (you’re shown the rate before you agree to send in your gold) and paid within 2 working days of sending off the gold.

Teacher’s Pet – these are a few optional tasks to help you earn that little bit more today:

Today’s Teacher’s Pet is signing up to Bubblews. Bubblews is a content writing platform where the advert revenue is shared with you. You’re allowed to write 10 “blog posts” a day, each one must be over 400 characters. People tend to write about anything and everything, and there are 15 categories to choose from. You make money for gaining “likes” and comments, so it is important that you spend some time connecting with other users and commenting on their posts and hitting the like button. Payout is at $50, and Laura, who told me about Bubblews, was able to hit $50 in one week recently.

Day 23 – March Money Making Madness

Day 23

Day 23 – another Sunday is here, and you know what that means? Time for another Sunday Sort Out! Today is all about finding those random things you keep meaning to sell, but never quite get around to it – those things that need to go to separate places to be sold, etc.

So today’s task is to go and collect all these items from around your house and arranging to collect all those items you’ve been asking friends and family to put aside for you. This includes:

  • Old mobile phones
  • Used ink cartridges
  • Broken jewellery or jewellery you no longer want
  • Foreign currency including coins
  • Old (including broken) electronics.

Throughout the March Money Making Madness boot camp, we will be looking to sell each of these on.

Teacher’s Pet – these are a few optional tasks to help you earn that little bit more today:

If you’re still raring to go after finding all of your items to sell, anything you want to sell because they’re new, or still working, photograph and list on Facebook (guide here) or eBay.

Day 22 – March Money Making Madness

Day 22

Day 22 nicely coincides with free eBay listing, so no prizes for guessing what’s on today’s agenda. You can view the details of the free listing weekend here, but the basics are that you need to be invited (sometimes those invited don’t get the email, so try to list something and see if it is free) and limited to 100 items with a start price of £1 or more.

  1. Photograph items for eBay
  2. List items

A great tip is to price your items high (or the amount you’re happy to receive) on Saturday for a 1 day listing, then relist them on Sunday for 7 days, priced a little cheaper.

There are no Teacher’s Pet tasks today.
